Our desire at Rockledge Church of the Nazarene is to provide a safe and friendly church environment where children can learn to love God, love others, and begin to serve. We want to partner with families to teach Godly principles, model Godly priorities, and value Godly relationships.

Besides Sunday School, Children's Church, Quizzing, Caravan, and Upward, other special events and activities throughout the year include:

Vacation Bible School, Summer Camp, Fall Festival, Easter Egg Hunts, and much more.

Nursery - God's Little Lambs
 

Care is provided for ages birth through 24 months during all of RCN's services by a competent and caring group of staff and volunteers. Our littlest ones experience God's love in a nurturing, safe, and enjoyable environment.

During our Sunday 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. worship services, children ages 2 and 3 years old are ministered to through structured teaching that makes the Bible come alive through exciting teaching, storybook lessons, coloring, activities, snacks, and more.

During our Sunday worship service at 11:00 a.m., children from 4 years old to Kindergarten are ministered to through structured teaching that makes the Bible come alive through exciting video, storybook lessons, coloring, activities, snacks, and more.
 

During our Sunday worship service at 11:00 a.m., we also have Konnect for children first through sixth grade.  Konnect is all about helping our kids "Konnect" with God.  We are taking our elementary aged kids on a four-year journey through the Bible. The stories come alive through exciting video and hands-on projects all in a small group environment. For 28 weeks each school year, our kids and leaders will grow closer to God through personal application of his Word.

At Rockledge Church we believe living out your faith is best when you do it as a family. That is why in Kidsville Konnect we not only want to encourage and inform children but we also want to equip parents and guardians with tools that can help them communicate biblical truths to their children in a way that their children will appreciate and understand. In order to do that we send home tools weekly to help you as a parent continue the conversation your child began on Sunday.  We pray that you will look over this material and spend some quality time with your kids. They won't be disappointed that you did!

 

Caravan - Pointing kids in the direction of Christ through Christian Scouting.
Caravan is a scouting program for children that meets on Wednesdays during the school year from 7-8 p.m. 
Caravan uses an active, hands-on learning approach to help children grow physically, socially, mentally, and spiritually. Caravan focuses on teaching everyday skills with a distinctly Christian focus.

Children become members of a scouting group based on their age.

Benson's Buddies (4 Years - Kindergarten)
Searchers (First and Second Graders)
Explorers (Third and Fourth Graders)
Adventurers (Fifth and Sixth Graders)​

Each group is under the direction of two or more adult guides.

Sunday mornings during the Sunday School hour(9:30-10:45 a.m.), our kids can participate in an exciting Bible study program that uses healthy competition to help kids hide God's Word in their hearts. Join Dr. Digalot----a famous archeologist----and his sidekick, Canteen the Camel, as they lead the way to discovering the truth of God's Word.
