What should I expect if I were to visit a Rockledge Church service?
First and foremost Rockledge Church is a Bible based church. We believe strongly in biblical truth but believe just as strongly that the truth can be relevant to our life and culture today. At RCN you can expect to fit in no matter where you come from or what you have done. The services are intentionally designed so that everyone feels welcome. The services are usually an hour and 15 minutes long and in our 9:15am service we offer a nursery for birth-24 month children and "In The Jungle" for 2-3 year olds.  In our 11:00am service in addition to the nursery and "In The Jungle" which still meet, we also offer "The Ark" for children 4 years old - kindergarden age, and Kidsville Konnect for kids 1st - 5th Grade. The typical format of a Sunday Service is as follows: Welcome, Worship, Offering, Message, and Closing. However, variety is often something we try to implement. That is what you can expect at RCN.

What should I wear to Rockledge Church?
Come as you are!  Some people wear dress clothes, some are in casual clothes, and others are more comfortable in jeans.  At RCN we will accept you as you are and want you to be comfortable.

What is your style of music?
Worship is one of those areas that is very preference driven. It's impossible to have one style that suits everyone. The reality is much of our tastes are influenced by what we grew up with, for better or worse. We have made an attempt to focus on heart-felt worship. It's about our worship to God. Our 9:15am service is musically led by an orchestra, choir, and praise team.  Our 11:00am service is musically led by a band and praise team.  We have a Worship Arts Pastor and we sing popular worship choruses and we do hymns arranged in innovative ways. At times it is upbeat, and at other times it's more reflective. Our prayer every weekend is that our worship is pleasing to God.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What is your preaching/teaching like?
Sermons are prayerfully designed to introduce people to God's love and purpose for their lives. They are very Bible-driven and practical. You would also find it to be refreshingly relevant and real. Sermon notes accompany each sermon, so it's easy to follow along. Bible verses are also in the program and up on our screens. We believe God still changes lives, and healthy Christians are still growing and making daily decisions to live God-honoring lives. If you are far from God or a deep-rooted Christian, there will be something to take home for you.

What do I do with my kids during church service?
TreeHouse Ministry fosters a love for Christ while bridging the gap between home and church. In both of our services, we provide an infant room for children, birth - 24 months, with age appropriate toys and crawling spaces along with a comfortable environment and gifted care takers who have all undergone background checks.

Sprouts: Birth - Kindergarten: Starting from birth, we strive to help provide students with healthy soil as they are just beginning to "sprout." Provided during both the 9:15am and 11:00am Sunday service, your child will worship actively in a safe environment through song, teaching, and games.

TreeHouse Kids: 1st - 6th Grade: Provided during both the 9:15am and 11:00am Sunday service, students will engage in worship through small groups, teaching, music, and games. Each month we are introduced to a new theme that carries us through the month.

How do I connect to Rockledge Church?
Dive into Rockledge Church! There's a big difference in being a weekend attendee and being part of the church body. Rockledge Church does not want to simply generate a crowd, but we are to be the body of Jesus Christ. There are simple steps that you can take like joining a Connect Group or finding a ministry team to serve others. Another way to connect is to attend Rockledge 101, which is our membership class. You will learn more about the vision and mission of Rockledge Church. God uses ordinary people to share His love and grace. Please keep an eye out in the Sunday morning program or visit the calendar section on this website for more opportunities to connect!

What do your services "feel" like?
The services feel exciting, warm, and friendly all at the same time. Many people comment about how they can sense God's Spirit at work. We make a special attempt to creatively communicate God's purpose for your life every weekend. Our hope is that people are engaged emotionally, visually, and spiritually. We want people to truly experience God's message for them each weekend. In addition to great worship music, we may at times use dramas, videos, special readings, or some other creative avenue. However, it is always driven by the Bible. At times, the only thing may be straight Bible-driven teaching. We always want God and His Word to be the center of our attention.

What do you ask of visitors?
Visitors are encouraged to come, relax, and enjoy. We ask visitors to fill out a communication card if they are able. This helps us know how we can better serve you and what you thought of your time spent at RCN. We hope that you find a place where you feel very welcome, but ultimately where you can sense God is near. Come check us out. We would love to meet you!

Welcome
