We believe that small groups are the place where ministry really happens. As God's people, we have a built–in need to form relationships and there is no better place to make a connection with other Christians than in a Connect Group.
Here you can experience teaching, sharing, serving or perhaps just some good conversation in a more intimate setting not possible on Sunday mornings.None of us need another meeting or activity to go to! But we all need to be connected with people who love us, care about what's really going on in our lives, and who will push us to be all we can be for Christ! RCN's Connect Groups are MORE than just Bible studies where you go to LEARN something. Spiritual Growth happens when we receive new knowledge and then apply it into our lives. This always happens best in the context of community.
Proverbs 27:17 - “As iron sharpens iron so a friend sharpens a friend”
1 Corinthians 12:26-27 - "If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.
1 Peter 1:22 - "Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart."
Hebrews 10:24-25 - "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another...
All of our Connect Groups carry the same emphasis: People being in community together, striving to be the body of Christ to each other by being connected together relationally.
**We encourage you to try a couple of groups in the beginning and see which one suits your needs and personality. If you need more information about joining a group or just want to know more about them, please call Dave Millard or the Church office at (321) 636-4600.
