Adult Ministries

We believe that small groups are the place where ministry really happens. As God's people, we have a built–in need to form relationships and there is no better place to make a connection with other Christians than in a Connect Group.

Here you can experience teaching, sharing, serving or perhaps just some good conversation in a more intimate setting not possible on Sunday mornings.None of us need another meeting or activity to go to!  But we all need to be connected with people who love us, care about what's really going on in our lives, and who will push us to be all we can be for Christ!  RCN's Connect Groups are MORE than just Bible studies where you go to LEARN something.  Yes, the Bible is always the central piece of our Connect Groups.  Yes, we are always seeking out God's ways for how we live out every aspect of our lives.  However Connect Groups are more about GROWING than just KNOWING!

You become FRIENDS with these people!  You get to be a part of each other's lives.  You love and learn together and truely become the body of Christ!

1 Corinthians 12:26-27 - "If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.

1 Peter 1:22 - "Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart."

Hebrews 10:24-25 - "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another...

All of our Connect Groups carry the same emphasis: People being in community together, striving to be the body of Christ to each other by being connected together relationally.  They meet weekly and when they do so, God's Word is always the central piece!  But successful groups not only focus on God's Truth, but also match it with THE TRUTH ABOUT ME (What's really going on in my life, What are the struggles and difficulties that I'm facing right now, etc.)

This April we will begin using the pastors’ sermon series for our teaching and discussion.  We are a Band of Brothers and Sisters committed to growing in Christ and loving each other as a family. No one is pressured to talk, but we all do. Comments and questions are always welcome. There are many opportunities for food, fellowship, and fun in and outside of church. We love to eat and play together. See you on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm in the church fellowship hall.

We meet on Thursday evenings (beginning at 7:00 until 8:30-9:00) to afford workers in the church such as teachers, Caravan workers, and all others who have a desire to grow spiritually. Our focus for discussion is the new sermon series but we also include Fun/Food/ and Fellowship. Meet in various homes. Come join us, we look forward to growing in Christ with you!

 As a group we endeavor to "actualize" God's Word in our lives. We will be studying in the book of acts in the weeks to come. We share needs, answers to prayer, and significant happenings in our lives. We believe in ministering to one another...and have seen dynamic and specific personal and spiritual growth occur in several of our group members. We endeavor to eat out together at least every 6-8 weeks. Through prayer we uplift each other, our families & friends, our pastor & family, and the body of Christ.

This is a group of Median to older adults. In April we will be adopting the pastors’ sermon series for our discussion and teaching. We enjoy periodic fellowship and food but we always have fun in our meetings. We discuss current events from a Biblical perspective. As a method of keeping in contact, we e-mail and telephone phone each other for encouragement and accountability. We meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 in the fellowship hall.

As a group we celebrate birthday’s, anniversaries and enjoy good fellowship and teaching in a relaxed atmosphere. In late April we will begin using the pastors’ sermon series with a mixture of other subjects for our discussion and teaching. We meet on Wednesday Evening at 6:30 in the church Office.

We are a completely new group starting this April. We will be using the pastor’s sermon series as our model for discussion. Our first couple of meetings will be on Wednesday evenings beginning wed. April 24th at 7:00 pm. After the first few meetings the group will decide when and where we will meet on a more permanent basis. We are excited to begin our new adventure together.

Our group utilizes the Beth Moore series and is primarily for women. Our group focuses on fellowship, sharing and caring. Our class motto is "Nothing ahead of you is bigger or stronger than the power of God behind you" Eph 6:10. We meet on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm in the cafe.

MOTORCYCLE MINISTRY

We are members of the Nazarene Motorcycle Fellowship. We meet every third Saturday at 9 a.m. for breakfast and a ride.
We annually support the Brevard County Bike Blessing every June.
